ONLINE Local Author Fair Application –

Thank you for your interest in the very first Marble Falls Library Local Author Book Fair! Authors can promote and sell their published works, and network with other writers.
Who: Any local authors/illustrators with published books. Books may be professionally or self-published. Any authors who reside in the state of Texas are welcome.
What: The library is providing free space for local authors to come share their books.
When: May 16 at 2:30PM. Applications MUST be submitted by Fri, April 19.
Where: Marble Falls Public Library at 101 Main St, Marble Falls, TX.
Submission of this application does not guarantee acceptance of applicants or book entries. The Marble Falls Library focuses on the promotion of literature and creativity. The library maintains the right to only accept materials deemed appropriate for this public event. Self-promotional or discriminatory materials will not be accepted.
Each accepted author will have a half of a table and a chair (provided by the library) to set up your materials. The space is 35 ¾ inches wide by 29 ¾ inches deep. You are responsible for bringing your own ads, books, and ways to take payments. Signs should be about standard paper size; no large banners. You are fully responsible for your own book sales (cash or card). The library cannot provide technical support for credit card readers.
On the day of the fair, arrive between (ie. 2PM and 2:15PM). Authors are responsible for cleaning up your space by 5PM. Items left at the library after this time will be donated to the Marble Falls Library Thrift Store.
You may submit up to 3 books to bring. Please be aware of the space you have available for display, and plan accordingly.
